Our Founder’s Story
WIWOCHI was founded with a deep sense of compassion and a mission to uplift the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children. The vision of WIWOCHI started with a remarkable woman, a mother whose heart was filled with love, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to help those in need.
For nearly two decades, she worked tirelessly to identify, rescue, and support children who had been victims of neglect, abuse, and exploitation. With her team, she worked to enroll them in school, provide shelter, and offer them a second chance at life. Her compassion touched hundreds of children and inspired many to join her mission.
In 2020, after her passing, her daughter Cyrila took on the noble responsibility of continuing her mother’s legacy. Cyrila, a passionate humanitarian, public relations practitioner, and marketer, stepped up as the successor and Managing Director of WIWOCHI. She dedicated her life to ensuring that the children her mother once cared for continue to receive love, education, and protection.
With a heart full of faith and determination, Cyrila has worked tirelessly to provide shelter, education, and emotional support to the children at WIWOCHI. Today, under her leadership, WIWOCHI has successfully provided a safe haven for 54 children, ensuring they have access to food, education, healthcare, and a loving environment.
Despite challenges, Cyrila remains unwavering in her mission. She dreams of expanding WIWOCHI, building a permanent home for the children, and developing sustainable social entrepreneurship projects to help them become self-reliant and responsible citizens.
“I believe in making the world a safe place for children, where no child is left behind.” – Cyrila
Her journey is one of resilience, faith, and an unbreakable commitment to ensuring that every child at WIWOCHI has a future full of hope, opportunity, and love
